The deeper tread and high void ratio manage to eliminate water and slush from below the tire's footprint and effectively resist hydroplaning. The tread elements also maintain a clean footprint by preventing snow from packing into the tread grooves and blocking the tire's road contact.

These enhancements improve the year round driving experience. The model's special tread design also manages to upgrade its off-road performance. The anchored tread blocks, scalloped shoulder lugs and the deeper tread boost the loose and soft terrain traction, especially while driving in mud.
