The Predator New Mutant X-MT is an all season, mud terrain tire manufactured for light trucks. The tread footprint covers a large surface contact area with the big, irregular-shaped tread blocks. The optimal tread depth and the thin sipe on each tread block both enhance off-terrain grip. The shoulder- and 3D sidewall blocks provide the tire with biting edges that help with cornering. The large tread blocks form a flat footprint that improves the tire's stability during its off-road performance. This enables the driver to command the vehicle with quicker and more precise steering responses. The high void ratio between the tread blocks boosts the tire's self-cleaning ability. This enables it to eject rocks and eliminate mud, snow, and dirt from the footprint. It minimizes the chance of stone retention, as they can't get stuck and eventually drill into the tread or casing.
